Tyler is (in my opinion of course!) one of the biggest "wapsie valley student section fans" that there could be. Every time there is a game to be played that means something he is on top of it and cheers until he is hoarse most times!!! I love that he is so into supporting our Wapsie Valley Warriors teams. Any of our friends and/or family that check out this blog post will spot him immediately I think. Blue Man he is on the left 2nd down, White/Black he is front white 2nd from right. What a great thing for our kids to be involved in!!!! Not sure what is up for tomorrow night, but GOOD LUCK WAPSIE VALLEY BOYS BASKETBALL! And I know Ty is already thinking of when they will find the time to paint themselves up before the game to show their support! No matter what they decide I'm sure they will look awesome. Go Wapsie!!

Here is a couple shots taken at the Mississippi River Museum a couple of weeks ago when we went with Helen & Louie. Aren't these two just a little "freaky" looking? Or maybe it was just me as we stopped at Van's and tasted our share (and then some) of many different wine flavors! Oh, and we saw Elvis at the buffet in the casino. Imagine that! I will put a slide show up sometime (when I find the time in my busy life!) of our once again awesome roadtrip to Dubuque. Of course I won a little bit of money as usual, and I think Bruce made a record for losing money faster than the speed of light. I don't think he should gamble. He maybe should just watch me win! Everyone have a great weekend. I just had a strange thought about these figures-I think they resemble somewhat my Mom & Dad. Spooky. I think I will just forget that thought. Is it time to go home for the weekend yet? I think my mind is totally shot from this week!

Here are some snapshots from our road trip Thanksgiving weekend. We first stopped at Stark's for some beverages to take home, lunch in Prairie, then Cabela's so Bruce could get some boots for deer hunting, then Lansing to check on the houseboats. All of them looked good except for some water in the back of ours and Louie's, but that is normal and we shop vac'd it out since we were there. Then we went to Waukon and stopped at Quillin's and had a blast with them for a few hours. Louie & Helen got introduced to WII bowling and I'm still suprised they don't have one at home yet! We even got to decorate some Christmas ornaments with the grandkids and got to take them home with us for our trees! Mine were the prettiest of course! We had a great time road tripping as usual. Hope everyone has a great weekend! And of course lets all hope that no more snow falls on us this winter! For sure for this weekend would be nice.

I just like this picture of my friend Ann and me from our boat float this year. Helen had the picture and Louie sent it to me. (Thanks once again!) This is a picture that totally represents what our friendships at the river are all about. Here we are on the float having a great time, and of course rooting for our Hawkeyes! Since we are having this nasty snow and wind I thought I would post a nice, warm river picture for my few followers to enjoy. Bring on spring! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Mom & Dad O. you'd best just stay put for a little while as our weather right now totally sucks!!!! Enjoy your warm weather while you can.

Tyler had NICL Conference wrestling meet last weekend. He won all of his matches for his weight in JV. He did a great job. He said he was happy to end his wrestling career on a good note. Well, since then he wrestled Tuesday night and pinned both of his kids in the first period. We weren't at that meet so missed it, but glad to report that when he got home and told us how he did, he also said that he plans to go out for Wrestling again next year. I am very happy with his decision, and look forward to getting some more serious bleacher butt next year. Good job Tyler, you did awesome this year! (Tyler refused to let me take a picture of him. Sorry!)

Last week both of our bosses were gone and someone made a comment to Vicki (my co-worker) that she would be the "Big Cheese" in the afternoons after I went home. Well I had told her I'd make her a hat out of my scrapboooking stuff for a joke that she could wear. It got to be last Friday afternoon and she was pouting and asked me where her hat was. I had kind of forgotten about it, so whipped one up with some copy paper and highlighters for her. She wouldn't let me take a picture with it on her head, but I think she really thought it was cool. We "mice" are so easily entertained when the "cats" are away! Everyone have a great weekend!

So we stopped by Louie & Helen's Friday night on our way home from getting groceries and had pizza and beverages with two of our favorite people (yeah I am a suck up I admit it!). It was good food, cold drinks, good fun, until.....Helen decided to try out her timer on her camera. Here is what happens when we get together and need to entertain ourselves I guess. One of the pictures I couldn't even put on here because, let's just say that Bruce was being naughty and I didn't need the internet world seeing my cleavage! And noone else even knew at the time what he was doing. I don't think he gets to stand in the back anymore for group pictures. Thanks Louie for sharing the pictures with me. May we always have this much silliness and fun when we are together!
