  80 years old today! WOW! And you don't look anywhere close to being that age. Hope that you have a very enjoyable weekend and party with the Colorado crew being here with all of us to celebrate. I'm sure a good time will be had by all as usual. And I'm sure no "beverages" will be drank, either! Have a Very Happy Birthday JR! You are a great guy!

  Well a collage really. These are a few pictures of the first tomatoes and jalapenos that I picked in my garden. I planted 33 tomato plants and they looked really great up until a couple weeks ago. Now they are drying up and dying. And I think the FFA kids gave me all yellow tomatoes instead of red! But they taste the same so I guess I won't complain. I didn't even pick all of them but knew I wouldn't have time to can them this week. So hopefully next week I will have a bunch and will can some V8 juice. Yum!

So the other day there was a squirrel on the roof "chatting" to Gizmo, and she was staring the thing down. It wanted to get to the squirrel corn feeder I believe. Wish these pictures would have turned out better. Oh well. Anyways, after the squirrel got spooked and took off Gizmo climbed on the feeder to say "now try and get some corn squirrel-I dare you"! The squirrels around our place drive her nuts. But very entertaining for us sometimes!

Wow what a day. I am so proud of Kyle and know that he will succeed at Iowa, but yet it is so hard to let go. He didn't like me snapping pictures much but here are a few to share with all of you that read my blog. He said he might be able to send me some after they revamped and moved everything around. If so I will definitely post those also. Good luck Kyle and proud to say you are a member of Beta Theta Pi also. Guess we should have gotten you a camera too! Not that you would have snapped pics like me. Have a great first year bud!

Hope everyone has a good weekend. We are moving Kyle and all of his stuff to Iowa City tomorrow to start a new chapter in his life. I'm sure I will have a tough time and cry plenty, but I'm going to try VERY HARD to not be a blubbering idiot while we are there. Maybe I can wait until we get home and then let it out? We'll see. It's not like he's moving half way across the country or anything. We will see him plenty. It is just hard. But on the other hand when we get all of his stuff loaded up my kitchen and dining room will not be piled with stuff anymore. Yeah on that. Anyways I'm sure I will have plenty of pictures from the move, and with Ty starting football now I think I just might get back into the blogging mode more often again. Everyone have a good one!   Not really that many phones but the kids had definitely been through many, many phones. This one he paid for with his own money though ($180) so I think he might take good care of it compared to other ones that we bought him. What do you think? So of course after he got his new phone home he destroyed the other one with his bare hands. Then he took it outside and tried to smash it on the sidewalk. It's not like it was the cell phones fault that he abused it to the point of not working right!

Not much blog worthy stuff to write about or post lately since the wedding and vacation. Have a few pictures on the little camera to upload. Maybe tonight. Been spending more time on Facebook lately I guess. As soon as some "blog worthy" stuff goes on I will definitely post it!

Fish  Days Weekend 2009-Here are some pictures I snapped with little camera from this weekend on vacation.  The pink shells are special ones that I painted for our friends granddaughter.  She now thinks pink shells are on the beaches everywhere in Lansing, Iowa!
